Search for Coles County inmates
There are two search criteria on the website: Search by Defendant or Search by Booking Number.
If you search by defendant, you need to enter the defendant's name, date of birth, booking date, and release date in the search fields. The last name and the first name are required. To get more accurate results, try to enter as much information as possible. If you are unsure of the exact spelling of the inmate's name, you can enter the first letters of the last name and the first name. Then click on the "Search" button at the bottom. A listing of all inmates that matches what you have entered will be shown on a new page, which contains the booking number, defendant name/DOB, booking date, release date, arresting agency, and charges of the inmate.
If you want to see more details about the inmate, click on the booking number of the inmate. More inmate information such as personal information, facility, warrant, issuing authority, offense date, bond/type, fine/court costs, and disposition of the inmate will be provided.
