The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office is committed to continually improving the Inmate Search web experience to locate incarcerated persons.
How to Use Inmate Search to Find Inmates in Winnebago County Jail?
To locate an inmate by the Inmate Search, please visit the website.
Search for Winnebago County inmates
There are two search options on the website. If you know the spelling of the inmate's last name, you can enter the last name in the search field, which allows you to locate an inmate more quickly. If you are not sure of the spelling of the inmate's last name, you can click on the button with the starting letter of the last name. Then you need to complete the reCAPTCHA verification and click on the "Search" button.
A listing of inmates that matches your search query will be shown at the bottom of the web page, which introduces the name, booking number, and booking date of the inmates.
To see more details about one certain inmate, click on his/her name at the beginning of the record. You will get the mugshot, name, MID, age, height, weight, race, eye color, hair color, next court date, bail amount, custody status, and charges of the inmate.
You can also register for notification on changes to an inmate's custody status by clicking on the VINE on the page.
