Search for Kane County inmates
There are three search methods available on the website: Search by Alphabet, Search by Name and/or Date, and Search for All Persons.
To search by alphabet, click on any one of the 26 letters. You will get all inmates whose first letter of last name is the letter you clicked on. To search by name and/or date, you need to enter the last name and/or first name in the search field(s). If you are unsure of the precise spelling of the inmate's name, you can enter the first few letters (at least the first letter) of the last name and/or first name. Choose the book date range to narrow the search results. Then click on the "Submit Search" button. To search for all persons, you can choose to see all inmates in custody, released within the last 24 hours, or received within the last 24 hours.
On the search result page, a listing of all inmates that matches what you entered is displayed. Click on the inmate's name, you will see detailed information about the inmate, including photo, personal information, jail date & time, arresting agency, days in custody, detainee location, total bail for all charges, and charge information.

Kane County Jail Visitation
To visit an inmate, visitors are required to make an online registration and then schedule the visit on the ICSolutions website.
Visitors should complete an "Approved Visitors List" first and then register as a user in the system on the website. All visits must be scheduled at least three days and up to seven days in advance.
Each inmate is allowed one 30-minute visit and a maximum of three visitors (including minors) are permitted to visit an inmate at one time. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and take a copy of the child's birth certificate.
All visitors must arrive fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled start time to check in and present a valid government-issued photo ID.
