Search for Cook County inmates
You need to read the Terms & Conditions on the website first and then click on the "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" and "Begin Search" button. The Inmate Search page will be displayed.
There are two search criteria: Search by Individual in Custody Name and Search by Booking Number.
To search by individual in custody name, you need to enter both the Full First Name and Full Last Name in the search fields. The exact spelling of the first name and the last name is necessary. To search by booking number, enter the eight-digit number such as 20190043395 in the search field. Then pass the reCAPTCHA test and click on the "Submit" button at the bottom.
A new page will appear on which you will see detailed information about the inmates, including personal information, booking information, arrest information, charge information, etc.

Cook County Jail Visitation
There are two types of visitation: in-person visits and family video visits.
To schedule your in-person visit, please fill the Visitation Form. To schedule family video visits, please set up an active Microsoft Teams account on the Microsoft Teams website.

Visitors 17 years old and under must be accompanied by an approved visitor. Please note that drinking, smoking, inappropriate behavior, or nudity are not permitted while visiting.
